Our Pastor

Evangelist Dr. Esther B. Wooley

Our History

Evangelist Esther B. Wooley was ordained in the Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) organization where she worked faithfully in the local assembly as well as on the International level. The call of leader and teacher was evident in her life, but like Jonah, she ran.

It was in June of 2009 that Evangelist Wooley, being penned in by the Lord, accepted the call and launched Latter Rain Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), Inc.  Latter Rain Church of Jesus Christ, (LRCJC) was the name of her father’s, church, the late Bishop Easton G. Clarke, Sr.

Bible Study & Prayer began in the Academy, which is owned by Evangelist Wooley and Husband, Deacon Jeffery Wooley, Sr.  There were four people in attendance at the first meeting, but since that time, many people came receiving the blessings from the Lord through answered prayers.

Through much fasting and praying, the Lord directed Evangelist Wooley to seek a place for Sunday Worship Services.  With much joy, Latter Rain Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), Inc. had their inaugural service at 8:30a.m on Sunday, January 3, 2010.  There were 24 people in attendance, not including the children.    The Spirit of the Lord was evident in the place and the message was well received.  Souls were revived and those that were lost found a home. Since that time, there have been as many as 40 adults in attendance, not including the children.  Truly we can say that God is Good.

On Sunday, April 18, 2010, LRCJC celebrated it’s first membership day.  There were 24 people that took the right hand of fellowship for which we are truly grateful.  With much prayer and fasting, the church will continue to grow from strength to strength.  We rejoice in the God of our salvation and humbly wait for the promise of His coming.

LRCJC is a church on a mission, devoted to the saving and healing of souls.
